Yokohama launches ADVAN WINTER V907, a new ultra-high-performance winter tire that meets the high demands of today's premium car brands. The newly developed ADVAN WINTER V907 combines all the advanced technologies that have made Yokohama Rubber's ADVAN Sport series popular as original equipment (OE) for premium cars of several leading car manufacturers, including Mercedes-AMG. The end result is a winter tire that achieves an unusual combination of high performance on both snow and dry roads. In addition to its excellent performance on snow, the new ADVAN WINTER V907 provides excellent comfort and stability when driving on dry roads at high speeds, typical of high-performance premium cars. An innovative formula was used in the development of the compound, which is composed of two layers. An upper layer in the tire tread that provides excellent performance on snow, with an undertread compound (a rubber layer in the tire core) that contributes to stability when driving on dry roads. The specially designed tread pattern of the new tire features V-shaped grooves and 3D sipes that contribute to excellent performance on snow and ice. The massive central and lateral zones ensure stability when cornering at high speeds, as well as on dry roads.
